Shipping Policies, Returns & Cancellations
DIRECT SHIPMENTS
Due to the ever-changing nature of wine shipping laws, we may or may not be able to ship wines, directly or indirectly, to your location.
If Happy Canyon Vineyard, LLC is unable to ship directly to your state, we may be able to arrange for the sale and shipment of our products through a third party. Please note, when dealing through a third party, wine prices, discounts, and shipping costs may differ from those quoted by Happy Canyon Vineyard, LLC. Contact us at info@happycanyonvineyard if you would like to inquire about shipping to your state.
SHIPPING COSTS
UPS Ground is Happy Canyon Vineyard, LLC carrier of choice. Ground shipping in California is sometimes provided by Golden State Overnight (GSO).
Wine is a Delicate Commodity. During the hot summer months of June through October, we recommend shipping UPS Select 3 Day for all wine shipments outside of California. Wine is a perishable commodity. Wine does not like extremes of temperature: hot humid summer and cold winter weather may adversely affect the condition of your wine during shipment. Happy Canyon Vineyard, LLC is not responsible for, and will not replace wine that is damaged by extreme weather conditions during shipment. When your wine order is picked up by the common carrier for delivery, responsibility for the wine becomes the responsibility of the purchaser.
ALL SALES FINAL
All sales are final and we do not guarantee the quality of our wines after they have left our warehouse or tasting room. If a wine appears flawed due to a product defect, we ask the customer return the unfinished portion of the original bottle and we will evaluate for replacement. By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the product is corked, or flawed due to a product defect. We are unable to accept return of wine that was damaged due to mis-handling (such as leaving wine in a hot car) or adverse weather conditions during shipment. We do not accept returns or supply refunds for wine that is ordered in error.
SHIPPING RETURNS
Customers are responsible for their wine shipments once the shipment has left our warehouse. According to US and State Law, shipping of Alcohol requires a signature of a person 21 years or older. Customers must contact Happy Canyon Vineyard or the shipping carrier directly to re-route, re-schedule or change the shipment in anyway. Any wine that has been returned to our warehouse from failed delivery attempt can be re-shipped at an additional expense to the customer. All wine that is returned to our warehouse due to customer unavailability is assumed the owners responsibility and will not be refunded. Shipping expenses will not be refunded due to failed delivery attempt. Happy Canyon Vineyard will notify customers directly by email when wine has been retuned due to failed delivery attempts.
